DEAR YOUNG FRIENDS,

In 2006 on the azure coast in the town of Varna there started the first International children's festival – contest „Starry rainbow“.

We, the organizers, are especially glad to be compassionate in its carrying out, in the discovery of new ideas and programmes, in the confirmation of a wonderful cause – friendship, peace and goodwill.

That is the „Starry rainbow“ festival which has for purpose to establish creative international contacts, as well as consolidation of international relations and cooperation through children's creations, forming of creative potential in the rising generation.

With the richness and variety of events which the festival offers – contest programmes, gala – concert and accompanying activities, it will contribute to the confirmation of the idea for communication among young generations from various countries and populations, and will help for the mutual fusion and enrichment of their cultures, for the formation of relations and cooperation. The appearances of young talents, which we all together expect at this festival, will again and again charge us with that optimism and high spirits which is extremely necessary for each nation, for each population in the beginning of the new ХХ I century .

I believe, young friends, that this festival, as an enormous hearth of the radiant „Starry rainbow” will give the opportunity to warm up Your souls and hearts, to take a sip of the warm atmosphere of a noble contest competition, to take the fire of spiritual closeness and reciprocity.

We are convinced that together with You – the young generation, we will be able to carry the spiritual experience of the past in the present millennium and will reveal that human feature which joins us all to the most human approaches of the Pan – European and world culture and civilization.

I wish all the participants in the International festival – contest „Starry rainbow“ good health, much inspiration, success in each initiative, new achievements in the field of art, in consolidation of friendship and understanding among populations, in the creation of a world without wars and violence, a world of stability and prosperity.
